Using OtterPilot saves time and increases meeting productivity by eliminating the need to take manual meeting notes. Connect your calendar and schedule Otter to automatically join your virtual meetings, automatically capture shared meeting slides, and automatically generate summaries in real time, and send an automated summary after the meeting.
- Automated Summary: Save time with Otter’s automated meeting summary - an AI-generated summarization of the key meeting topics. During each meeting, Otter will generate a Live Summary, so that you can easily catch up on anything you missed. After each meeting, Otter will automatically send a summary to those invited to the meeting and/or directly to an Otter group. Automated summaries are shared via email, with hyperlinks to key moments and slide captures of the meeting.
We have updated the Otter Pro and Otter Business pricing structure to reflect the value we’ve added and the commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation. This new pricing will go into effect beginning August 16th, 2023.

- No current changes to the Otter Pro monthly plan.
Existing users on the Otter Pro annual plan purchased via Web.
- Freya subscribed to the Otter Pro annual plan on March 23rd, 2023.
- Freya’s next renewal on March 23rd, 2024 will renew at the new price of $119.99 USD per annual rate.
Existing users on the Otter Business monthly plan + inviting new members.
- Abhinav subscribed to the Otter Business monthly plan on July 2nd, 2023 at the $30 USD per month rate and invited a 2nd member, bringing their monthly total to $60 USD per month rate for 2 licenses.
- Their subscription will continue to renew on August 2nd, 2023 at the price of $60 USD per month for 2 licenses ($30 x 2).
- On August 16th, 2023, the new Otter Business monthly pricing goes into effect, only for new subscriptions.
- As an existing subscriber, Abhinav’s next renewal on September 2nd, 2023 will continue to renew at the price of $60 USD per month for 2 licenses.
- Abhinav invites a 3rd member to their Workspace. On November 2nd, 2023, their renewal will be $90 per month for 3 licenses ($30 x 3).
I purchased an Otter Pro annual subscription before September 27th, 2022. How am I affected?
Existing users who subscribed to the Otter Pro annual plan by September 26th, 2022, were automatically locked into Otter Pro legacy pricing, features, and usage limits for renewals through October 31st, 2023.
All renewals starting November 1st, 2023 will renew on the new pricing and packaging. Users who are currently subscribed to Pro Annual will be notified via email, 45 days before their renewal, with any changes to their pricing.
Note: Users previously locked into the legacy Otter Pro pricing, features, and usage limits will also be migrated to the current Otter Pro features and usage limits at their next renewal. Current features and usage limits can be found on our pricing page.
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Am I going to lose features on my plan during this change?
- No. Only the pricing is changing for the Otter Pro and Otter Business plans.
What happens if I cancel my subscription and purchase a subscription again after August 15th, 2023?
- If you cancel your subscription and re-purchase your previous plan after August 15th, 2023, the pricing will reflect the new pricing changes as shown above.
Will these changes affect the Otter Pro educational discount?
- Otter Pro for students will remain at our current pricing: Otter Pro Monthly for Students at $13.59/mo and Otter Pro Annual at $79.99/year.
Why is Pro annual pricing higher on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store subscriptions than on the web?
- The $129.99 USD pricing on the Pro annual subscription for Apple App Store and Google Play Store purchases reflects the additional charges required to host the Otter.ai subscriptions on both Apple and Google’s app stores. Learn how to move your Apple App Store or Google Play Store subscription to Otter via Web to save.
We recommend canceling your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and purchasing directly from us on the web browser. Once your Otter subscription has expired through Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, you can sign into your Otter account on a web browser and navigate to Account Settings > Plan to purchase from us directly.
