With Otter Notetaker, Otter automatically records and transcribes a Zoom breakout room by joining as a participant. This makes it easy to capture every discussion and ensure no insights are lost. Use the Otter Desktop App + Notetaker

If you have multiple breakout rooms, use a combination of the Otter Desktop app and the Otter Notetakers.

• Breakout Room 1: Assign Notetaker #1
• Breakout Room 2: Assign Notetaker #2
• Breakout Room 3: Assign yourself to the room and record using the Otter Desktop App

Assign a Notetaker to a breakout room

Otter can record only as many breakout rooms as there are Notetakers in the meeting.

1. Create your breakout room.
   
2. Assign Notetakers to the breakout rooms.
   
3. Review the assigned Notetakers. Start the breakout rooms when ready.
   
4. Notetaker will record the breakout room they are in.
   

Add more Notetakers to a meeting

If your meeting includes multiple breakout rooms, each workspace member may be able to add their own Notetaker that the host can assign to a breakout room. Follow our Manually add the Notetaker to a meeting instructions.
