You can remove Notetaker at any time from your Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams during a live meeting. This applies to both auto-joined calendar event meetings and meetings you manually add a Notetaker to.
Type "stop otter" to remove Notetaker
All meeting participants can type "stop otter" in the Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams meeting chat. All Notetakers will be immediately removed.

To prevent Notetaker from automatically joining your meetings, manage your auto-join settings in Integrations → Meetings tab → Default auto-join settings and select Meetings I manually select.

To prevent Notetaker from automatically joining your meetings, turn off auto-join.

Note: Previous events that were manually toggled on/off will retain the setting. Review your calendar events in the Calendar tab on mobile after managing this setting if you previously changed individual event settings.
Remove Notetaker through the meeting controls
Users with the appropriate permissions can remove the Notetaker participant directly from a Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams meeting. Check with your meeting host or review your meeting platform settings to confirm whether you have permission to remove participants from a meeting.

The host or co-host can remove Notetaker as a participant in Zoom during the meeting.
Google Meet
Depending on the meeting permissions, other participants and hosts can remove Notetaker from the meeting.
Microsoft Teams
Depending on the meeting permissions, the organizer and presenter(s) can remove Notetaker from the meeting.

You can also disconnect your calendar to remove all future events.
