Otter Chat is not responding
During high volumes of requests, Otter Chat may be slower or encounter interruptions. Click Retry if Otter Chat is showing as not available.Â
If you are experiencing Otter Chat not responding, please try the following:
- Refresh the conversation web page and try asking your question or prompt again.Â
- Log out and log back into Otter.
- Clear cache, restart your browser, and try asking Otter Chat again. Learn how to clear cookies and site data in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
Otter Chat is not appearing as an option
Note: By default, all accounts are opted into Otter Chat, except for Enterprise and EDU accounts. All Enterprise and EDU accounts are opted out of Otter Chat by default. If you are on an Enterprise or part of an EDU account and would like to opt into Otter Chat, please have your Workspace admin contact the Otter Support Team.
If you are experiencing Otter Chat not showing as an option, please try the following:
- Clear cache, restart your browser, and try accessing the Otter Chat tab again. Learn how to clear cookies and site data in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
Otter Chat response is cut off
At this time, the Otter Chat response is limited to 570 words. If you are experiencing a cut-off in the response, please try adding limits to your question or prompt.Â
