Otter analytics provides admins with insights and data about their team member's activity within the Workspace. Monitor, analyze, and view usage trends over a period of time.
Workspace Analytics
- Sign in to Otter as an admin.
- Click on your profile in the upper left corner. Select Manage Workspace.
- Click on the Analytics tab.
The analytics page will provide a summary of various stats, info, and usage columns for the members in your Workspace.

Members
- Name: Member's full name.
- Email: Member's email.
- Status: If a member currently has an active seat (license or trial).
- Join Date: When a member joined the Workspace.

Active Within: When a member was last active in the Workspace.
Note: Active means the user has created a conversation, viewed a conversation, or interacted with a conversation (edit, highlights, etc.).

Minutes Transcribed: Minutes transcribed based on the selected time range.

Conversations Created: Number of conversations created based on the selected time range.

Average Minutes Per Conversation: Average minutes per conversation based on the selected time range.

Average Conversations / Month: Average number of conversations per month based on the selected time range.

Average Minutes / Month: Average number of minutes per month based on the selected time range.
Tip: The average will change based on the filtered time. Try changing the date range to see different usage trends.

You can sort by any of the available columns. Hover over the column name and click the up arrow to sort by that column.
Filter by time
Filter the time by billing cycle or through a custom date range.
- Billing Cycle: Date range based on your billing period. Otter automatically generates these billing periods you can select from.
- Between: Select a custom date range for your report.
Deactivated user stats will appear in the report. View usage of past members based on the selected date range.
Export Analytics
Export your analytics as a CSV file to open in a spreadsheet or database editor for further analysis and reporting of your Workspace data. Click Export CSV in the upper right corner to export the current generated report on the page.
The CSV file produced is compatible with spreadsheet and database editors (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, MySQL, etc.).
