Organize and share conversations with Channels

A Channel (formerly Group) is a set of members who you often share a conversation with, such as teammates. When you share a conversation with a Channel, everyone in the Channel will have access to the conversation and be notified via email and push notification. This saves time by not having to enter the names of each person individually.

Create a Channel

1. Click add icon (+) next to Channels or click New channel within the Channels page in the upper corner.
   
2. Enter a name for the Channel.
3. Invite the members by typing their name or email and clicking Enter/Return.
4. Click Create when ready.
   
5. Your Channel has been created. 
   

Add others to a Channel

1. Click into the Channel.
2. Click Invite in the upper corner. 
3. Type the user's name or email and click Enter/Return.
4. Click Invite. An email is sent to the people you invited.
   

Remove someone from a Channel

1. Click on the Channel name. 
2. Click the member's icon in the upper corner. 
   
3. Click Remove next to the member. 
   
4. Click Remove to confirm removing that member.
   
5. Member has been removed from the Channel.

Rename a Channel

1. Click the Channel name.
2. Click into the Channel name field, enter a new Channel name, and hit Enter.
   

Delete a Channel

1. Click the Channel name.
2. Click the member's icon in the upper corner. 
   
3. Click Delete channel.
   
4. Click Delete to confirm. 
   
5. The Channel has been deleted.
