Otter Notetaker chat messages – Help Center

Otter AI Chat enables teams to focus on the most important information during a meeting to transform your conversations into hubs of productivity, clarity, and collaboration. Participants can view all AI Chat questions and responses directly in the meeting chat. Add instant value to your meetings by using Otter Chat Q&A.

Note: Notetaker Otter Chat Q&A is available for Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams meetings, and requires your Notetaker to join the online meeting.

Manage your Notetaker Chat Q&A settings

Manage your Notetaker Chat Q&A settings in Account Settings > Meetings. Under the Notetaker chat messages section, toggle the setting for Otter Chat Q&A.

Send AI Chat Q&As during the meeting

Tip: Check out the type of content you can generate using AI Chat.

During a meeting, open the AI Chat tab in your live Otter conversation. You can begin to ask your questions to Otter. Both the question and answer will be sent directly to the meeting chat for all participants and attendees to view. A link to the Otter conversation will be provided in each chat message.

Note: Only questions submitted to AI Chat will show in the meeting's chat. Mentioning (@) or conversing with other participants in the Otter conversation will not show in Zoom’s chat. Only the Notetaker Chat Q&As will show in the meeting chat.
