Connect your calendar and contacts to Otter to automatically record and summarize your meetings. Otter supports Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and iOS Calendar, so you never miss an online meeting. Once connected, Otter Notetaker automatically joins scheduled events, records conversations, and generates notes you can easily share with your contacts.
Connect your calendar account on desktop or web
Connect your Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook calendar at any time on the Integrations page in Otter.
Google Calendar Connect your Google Calendar to Otter to automatically record and summarize your meetings.

Click Add next to Google and follow the steps to sign in to your account.

Review the permissions and click Continue to connect your Google account to Otter.

Your Google Calendar is now connected to Otter. To connect more Google accounts, repeat steps 1-2.
Your calendar events will begin to sync.
Microsoft Calendar Connect your Microsoft Outlook Calendar to Otter to automatically record and summarize your meetings.

Click Add next to Microsoft and follow the steps to sign in to your account.

Review the permissions and click Accept to connect your Google account to Otter.

Your Microsoft Calendar is now connected to Otter. To connect more Microsoft accounts, repeat steps 1-2.
Your calendar events will begin to sync.
If you’re experiencing issues connecting your Microsoft Calendar, contact your Microsoft admin and ask them to grant the correct permissions for Otter.
Connect your calendar account on the mobile app
Connect your Google, Microsoft Outlook, or iOS Calendar account in the mobile app.

Tap Account in the lower-right corner, then select Account Settings.

Under Setup, tap Connect calendars.

Tap the plus button (+) next to the account you want to connect.

Follow the steps to connect your calendar.

Your calendar(s) are now connected to Otter. To connect more accounts, repeat steps 1-4.
Your calendar events will begin to sync.
iOS Calendar options "This device"
iOS users can connect their Apple Calendar to Otter. Tap the plus button (+) next to This device, follow the steps, and select the calendars you want to sync to Otter.
Android calendar options
Mobile Android users will only have Google and Microsoft as options for calendar connection.
Disconnect your calendar
You can disconnect your calendar at any time.

FAQs
How to fix calendar permission issues?
If you’re experiencing calendar permission issues, such as being unable to accept permissions or needing admin approval, contact your Microsoft admin. We recommend having your admin grant the required calendar permissions to ensure a seamless connection to Otter.
Can I connect my calendar from my on-premise server to Otter?
No. Otter does not support connecting to calendars from on-premises servers, including Microsoft Exchange on-premises or other locally hosted calendar systems.
Can I connect my on-premise Microsoft Exchange calendar to Otter?
No. We do not support connecting on-premise Microsoft Exchange calendars to Otter. We only support connecting calendars attached to the Microsoft 365 Outlook online calendar.
To check whether your Microsoft account can connect to Otter, sign in to Microsoft Calendar. If you can log in, you can sync your Microsoft account with Otter. If you log in and your Microsoft Exchange events are not showing up, you will need to move them to the Microsoft 365 Outlook Calendar to sync with Otter.
