The owner or admin(s) can cancel an Otter subscription anytime to set the subscription to expire at the end of the billing period. Once the paid subscription expires, the Workspace can continue to use Otter on the Basic plan.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel them.
- If you cancel, you can keep using the paid features until the subscription expires at the end of the current billing period.
- Cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the next billing date to avoid an unwanted charge.
- Applicable limits of the Basic plan apply after the paid subscription expires.
- Subscriptions are non-refundable as explained in the Otter Terms of Service.
Steps to cancel your Otter Business subscription
- Sign in to Otter.ai as an admin.

Click on your profile in the left navigation menu. Select Account Settings and click on the Plan tab. At the end of the page, click Cancel Plan.
Tip: Don't want to fully cancel your subscription, but need a break? Try using the Pause Plan option instead. -
Carefully review the information in the pop-up. Click Cancel subscription to confirm.
✅ The subscription has been cancelled and will expire at the end of the billing period. You and any member in your Workspace can continue to use the paid features until the end of the billing cycle.

📲 Manage your Business subscription on mobile
Canceling your Business subscription is only available through a web browser; however, you can navigate to the mobile web browser within the Otter app.
- Tap Account. Select Account Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Manage subscription.
- Click Cancel subscription.
- Click Continue.
- You will be redirected to the web browser. Sign in to Otter.ai if you are not already signed in. Click Cancel Plan and proceed through the cancellation flow.
