When you sign up for a free trial of Otter Business, you start with a free trial subscription for the specified duration. There is no limit to the number of users that can join the account and you can explore all the features of Otter Business, including third-party integrations such as Zoom.
Start your free trial
To start your Otter Business free trial, sign up at https://otter.ai/business. You may be required to enter your payment information.
See when your trial ends
Find out how many days are left in your trial period.
- Sign in to your Otter Business account as an admin.
- Click your name in the top left.
- Click Account settings and click the Plan tab.
- Under Plan Details, you'll find the days remaining until your free trial ends.
Start your paid subscription
Note: If you added your payment information during the sign-up of your trial account, you don’t need to do anything. Your paid subscription automatically begins when your trial ends.
- Sign in to your Otter Business account as an admin.
- Click your name in the top left.
- Click Account settings and click the Plan tab.
- Click Subscribe now and then click Update to Business plan.
- Follow the steps to finalize your purchase.
- Your free trial will immediately convert to a paid subscription.
What happens when the trial ends
If your trial period ends and you haven’t subscribed yet or you did not add your payment information during the sign-up of your trial account, your Otter Business account will be suspended. To reactivate your account, follow the steps above.
Once your trial has ended and you haven't subscribed, the following will happen:
- The Otter Business account will remain active.
- Team members will continue to have access to their conversations. However, they cannot create new conversations or import files.
- New team members cannot be invited to the account.
- If a team member is deactivated by an admin, they will not be able to sign in or access their conversations.
If you or another team member would like to transition their account to an individual account (Basic or Pro), please have the account owner or admin contact support.
Cancel your trial
If your trial period ends and you haven’t subscribed yet or you did not add your payment information during the sign-up of your trial account, your Otter Business account will be automatically suspended and no further action is needed. However, if you wish to cancel the trial, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Otter Business account as an admin.
- Click your name in the top left.
- Click Account settings and click the Plan tab.
- Click the Cancel plan link.
- A confirmation message will confirm that you would like to cancel your trial. To proceed, click Cancel subscription. You can keep using the subscription until your trial period ends shown on this page.
Note: If you were not prompted to enter your credit card information when signing up for your free trial of Otter Business and wish to cancel, please have the account owner or admin contact support.
