Manage vocabulary

You can teach Otter jargon, names, and any other vocabulary words you choose to increase the accuracy of Otter, becoming the AI assistant you've always wanted. Add custom vocabulary to boost the accuracy for proper names, jargon, acronyms, and unique name spellings.

The Basic free plan includes up to 5 words or phrases. The Pro plan gives you a personal vocabulary of up to 100 names and 100 other vocabularies.

Upgrading to the Otter Business plan gives you a team vocabulary of 800 names and 800 other vocabularies (in addition to a personal vocabulary of 200 names and 200 other vocabularies per user).

Add a term to your personal vocabulary

1. Sign in to Otter.
2. Click your name in the top left and click Account settings > General.
3. Click Manage Vocabulary.
   
4. To add a proper name, click Names of people under Personal Vocabulary. To add a general term, click Other vocabulary.

Add a term to your team vocabulary

1. Sign in to Otter.
2. Click your name in the top left and click Account settings > General.
3. Click Manage Vocabulary.
4. To add a proper name, click Names of people under Team Vocabulary. To add a general term, click Other vocabulary.
   

Terms added to the team vocabulary are applied to every team member's conversations within your team or organization.
