Manage the payment information for your Otter purchases, including subscriptions, changes, and additional licenses. The primary card on file will be used for all purchases.
Manage your payment information
Manage all of your payment details on the Billing page.
- Sign in to Otter.ai.

Click on your profile in the upper left corner and select Account Settings. Click the Billing tab.
Note: If you do not yet see this option, click Plans first to view the billing tab. - Scroll down to the Payment Method section.
Add a new payment method
Add a new credit card to use for future payments.
- Follow the steps above to navigate to the Billing page.
- Click Add next to Payment Method.

Enter your card details in the pop-up.
Note: Optionally, uncheck Make primary payment if you do not want this card to be charged as the default payment. - Click Add to confirm.
- The card has been added and will be used for all future payments.
Repeat steps 1-4 to add multiple payment methods.
Update your credit card information
Update your credit card information anytime for new details or to replace expired credit cards.
- Follow the steps above to navigate to the Billing page.
- Click on the 3-dot menu next to the credit card you want to update. Click Edit.

Enter your updated card details in the pop-up.
Note: Optionally, uncheck Make primary payment if you do not want this card to be charged as the default payment. - Click Save to confirm.
- The card has been added and will be used for all future payments.
Delete a payment method
Delete a credit card on file.
- Follow the steps above to navigate to the Billing page.

Click on the 3-dot menu next to the credit card you want to delete. Select Delete.
Note: To delete the existing default card on file, set another card as the default first. - Carefully review the pop-up. Click Delete to proceed.
- The card has been deleted from your account.
If you have only one card on file (set as the default), you will not be able to delete it. Add another payment method and set that card as the default first. You can then follow the steps above to delete the card on file.
Make a card the default payment method
If you have multiple cards on file, you can set a default payment method. The default payment method will be used for all future subscriptions, licenses, and purchases.
- Follow the steps above to navigate to the Billing page.
- Click on the 3-dot menu next to the credit card you want to set as the default payment method. Select Make default.
- The card is set as the default payment method and will be used for all future charges.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
If you used your phone to purchase an Otter subscription, you must manage your payment method through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

FAQs
My credit card has expired. How do I update?
- Follow our steps to update your credit card information for an expired credit card.
Can I delete all cards on file?
- You must have one card on file for renewals, subscriptions, and license purchases.
- You will not be able to delete the default card.
- For any questions regarding this or the permanent removal of all cards on file, contact our Otter Support Team.
Why don't I see the delete option for my card?
- You cannot delete the default card on file. Add another payment method and set that card as the default to delete the other card.

Do you have any payment methods besides credit cards?
- At this time, we only accept credit cards for direct purchases through our site.
